I provide routine and deep dental cleanings, oral cancer screenings, and offer preventive care, including fluoride treatment and placing sealants. While with a patient, I talk with about their personal dental hygiene needs, explain areas of concern, and discuss nutrition and how that impacts their oral and overall health. Through approachable dental education, I help people establish better habits and improve the health of their smile.
I enjoy talking with each patient and learning from them and their experiences. I’ve worked with many of these people since 1978 and treasure the friendships we’ve built over the years!
As a hygienist, I help patients achieve optimum dental health. I spend time learning my patients’ needs and concerns, forming a trusting rapport, and making their preventive dental care as comfortable and pleasant as possible.
Raised a military brat, I married my husband in 1970, the year I started in the dental field. We have enjoyed traveling over the years and now spend as much time as possible in Chelan. My family, human and animal, is important to me and I spend as much time as I can with them, along with our friends. I recently switched from working full- to part-time and enjoy my free hours working with my husband restoring an older home in Manson, WA.
I really like talking with and getting to know our patients. I am passionate about dental healthcare and love helping people achieve healthy, happy smiles!
I assist our patients with scheduling and explain treatment plans, financials, and insurance matters. It’s important everyone understands their care and payment options and has all their questions answered. This way they can make informed decisions about treatment on their journey to a healthy smile!
I’m a Washington native and live in Snohomish with my husband, James, and our very loved older dachshund. We enjoy sports year round, especially snowmobiling, boating, camping, and Harley rides. I am passionate about dog adoption and enjoy my volunteer time at Homeward Pets in Woodinville.
Front Office Manager
I truly enjoy EVERY facet of my position and find it a pleasure to talk with and build connections with our wonderful patient family. My days don’t feel like work: I feel fortunate to be an integral part of the Minahan Dental Family!
I oversee our scheduling and handle insurance billing and management. I also work with patients on treatment plan financials, take care of billing, answer the phones, and make sure everything runs smoothly.
I’m a Seattle native and attended Garfield High School where I was a cheerleader for all four years: Go Bulldogs! Now I live on a farm where I raise and show top winning Irish Wolfhounds as well as warmblood dressage horses. I also have miniature goats, miniature donkeys, and Persian cats. I am a HUGE jazz fan and am passionate about Seahawk and Husky football (well, all football, truth be told!). And I’m currently learning to be a wine snob, too.
I like educating our patients and showing them how to relax in a dental office. It’s important people know that painless dentistry is possible and that we’ll keep them comfortable during procedures!
I assist the doctor with patient treatments, sterilize the operatory and equipment, and offer patient education.
Outside of work, I enjoy time with my husband of more than 30 years, Bruce. We both like hiking and treasure time with our daughter, Melissa, who’s a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.
Certified and Registered Dental Assistant
I love working with our patients. My #1 goal is making sure each patient is comfortable and relaxed during their procedure. I love working with a wonderful team and I love coming to work each day, spending the hours with incredible people!
I make sure our schedule runs smoothly: I turn and set up rooms, keep the sterilization flow steady, and ensure we’re all ready to go for each procedure. I work hard to make sure our patients have easy, worry-free visits and finish their procedures with a smile!
I share my life with my Ragdoll kitty, Sophia, and enjoy every minute spent with her. On the weekends I love to visit my guy-friend’s cabin up north; I absolutely love nature and getting away from the big city! When the weather is beautiful I love walking Green Lake and Discovery Park, or down on the Edmonds pier. When the weather isn’t great, I’m often at the gym. I am one of five siblings and love being part of a large and blended family.
I really enjoy the interactions with our patients, especially learning about their lives and families. It’s a good feeling to help people I care about develop and keep healthy smiles!
As a hygienist, my job is a lot more than just “cleaning teeth.” It’s important I educate patients about their periodontal conditions and teach effective home oral hygiene care. When a person knows why and how to keep their oral cavity healthy, they make positive changes. A clean smile at a recall visit makes me happy.
I grew up in Washington and live in Woodinville. I have a mini dachshund/pinscher mix, Milo, and am engaged to be married to someone who loves adventure and travel as much as I do! I love traveling locally, as well as exploring the US and venturing overseas. Locally, I like concerts, live theater, and movies. I also enjoy biking, hiking, paddle boarding, hanging out with family and friends over good food, and volunteering at homeless shelters.
